Corporate
Sponsorship
The socioeconomics
of China are clearly advantageous to
first world corporations. To be competitive
in the global economy, many companies
are turning to China for efficient manufacturing,
low labor cost, less stringent environmental
controls and proximity to suppliers. |
|
|
|
However,
these regions within China are considerably
less privileged and more than 90% of
the populations of these regions fall
below the poverty line. While new factories
provide new unskilled employment opportunities,
VCF offers the opportunity for corporations
to go one step further and participate
in grass roots educational improvements
that will help to shape the minds and
lives of the next generation.
VCF volunteers
survey, evaluate and highlight potential
target locations of greatest need. We
will coordinate with local and provincial
government and school boards and arrange
required logistics. Our goal is to make
sure your donations are converted to
building materials that are delivered
and built into new and fully operational
schools. And we will keep you informed
of progress along the way with regular
quarterly updates. |
|
|
VCF will work
with corporate sponsors to determine
how each corporate sponsor prefers
to be recognized for their contributions.
For starters, we intend to name the
school after the sponsor, include
sponsors in web and print materials
and coordinate launch events and press
releases.
